Despite multiple individuals being identified by the public through surveillance images regardless of quality, shoplifting continues here in Bridgeport. And it is still continuing at the Meadowbrook Mall.

The Bridgeport Police Department is hoping that the community locally and perhaps beyond help locate a pair of individuals in the latest shoplifting case.

According to Bridgeport Police Officer J.M. Holley, law enforcement needs help to locate two suspects for a July 6 shoplifting incident at Bridgeport's retail hub.

“These individuals stole $527 in various merchandise, including jewelry and clothing,” said Holley.

The suspects include a male and female. The male suspect, during the incident, was wearing what looks to be khaki pants, a light maroon colored shirt and a baby blue North Carolina hat. Holley described the white male as heavy set with tattoos on both arms and wearing what looks to be a silver necklace.
The female suspect is also a Caucasian. She appears to have a thin build and was wearing jean shorts and a tan colored jacket at the time of the shoplifting incident.

“Both suspects left in a black four door Ford Fusion with unknown registration,” said Holley.

Holley is aware that the photos are not of the best quality. However, despite being grainy he is hopeful someone will recognize one of both of the individuals.

If you think you can help, have information on the case or think you may know who is in the photos, contact Holley.
