Apparently, some individuals aren’t willing to wait until Christmas to get what they want. Because of that, the Bridgeport Police Department needs your help in locating a pair of suspects being sought for shoplifting this past Friday.

According to Bridgeport Police Officer J.D. Manson, a male and female suspect are being sought for the incident that took place Dec. 14. The alleged shoplifting occurred inside Bridgeport’s retail hub, the Meadowbrook Mall.

Manson is reporting the two suspects shoplifted inside of Target. The incident took place in the evening at approximately 9:20 p.m. based on surveillance footage.

The item taken was an HP 14-inch Chromebook. The cost of item was $269.99.

Manson is hopeful the somewhat clear images will lead someone to identifying the two individuals that are being sought. The stills, submitted by Bridgeport Police, are from the Target video system. The public has assisted on multiple cases that have led to arrests.

If you know who the individuals that are pictured are, Manson is asking to be contacted. He can be reached at 304-848-6107. If Manson is not there, leave a message.

As of 10:30 a.m. Tuesday (Dec. 18), Chief John Walker said the identities of the pair are still in question.

If you happen to know anything about the incident, but may not know who the individuals contact Manson at the same number.
