A routine traffic stop in Bridgeport this afternoon led to the arrest of three individuals, including wanted individuals, as well as the discovery of drug paraphernalia, according to Officer Cam Golden. The initial stop took place around 2 p.m. today, he said.

Arrested were Michael Skinner, Christopher Manuel and Jessie Doble by Bridgeport Police. They were all being processed and interviewed before being transported to appear before a magistrate later in the day.

Skinner and Manuel are from Harrison County. Doble is from New Jersey.

“I was on routine patrol along I-79 and observed a car traveling faster than the others. I then initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and he pulled onto Jerry Dove Drive,” said Golden.

Skinner was the driver of the vehicle. He did not have driver’s license, which had been revoked for an active DUI charge. His arrest was for driving revoked DUI first offense. Golden said there were no other charges at this time on Skinner.

Manuel has two active warrants on him through the Harrison County Magistrate’s Court system. One warrant was a capias for failure to appear for a previous charge, while the other was a warrant for burglary. There are no other charges at this time on Manuel, Golden said.

Both Skinner and Manuel are convicted felons.

Doble had a capias for failure to appear on a previous charge of driving on a suspended license. She did not have any other charges, Golden said.

“Throughout the investigation there were multiple drug paraphernalia items found throughout the vehicle,” said Golden.

There were no drugs found. The arrests of those listed went without incident, the officer said.

“They cooperated throughout the investigation,” said Golden.

The case remains under investigation. Other charges may be pending, Golden said. More details on the case if, and when, they become available will be provided on Connect-Bridgeport.

Editor's Note: Jessie Doble, left, is escorted from the Bridgeport Police station by Sgt. J.W. Petroski to be transported, while Michael Skinner is shown being put into the vehicle by Lt. Doug Betler. Skinner is shown below as well. Christopher Manuel was still being processed after 6 p.m.
