Morning Main Street Wreck Sends Two for Treatment

According to the Harrison County Bureau of Emergency Services 911 log, two individuals were taken for medical treatment due to an early-morning accident in Bridgeport.
The two-vehicle accident took place at 5:37 a.m.
Several units responded to the scene - all from Bridgeport. The log states that the Bridgeport Fire Department, Bridgeport Police Department and the city's EMS all were on hand to assist with the accident.
The wreck resulted in two transported to United Hosptial Center for treatment. There is no word on the condition of those individuals.
Due to wreck, traffic was blocked on the westbound section of U.S. Route 50-Main Street. Traffic issues were handled by Bridgeport emergency service personnel.
The Bridgeport Police Department is investigating.
