Bridgeport got a late Christmas gift on the economic front. Between Christmas and New Year’s Day, Northwestern Mutual opened up shop in the city limits.

 

The financial services mutual organization headquartered in Milwaukee made the move from Clarksburg’s Chase Building on Main Street to 99 Cambridge Place in Bridgeport. The location is right off Thompson Drive and just past Gabe’s Plaza.

 

“The move was fairly seamless. We were looking for a more convenient place for our clients to serve them with things that help make their experience improved such as better parking and a more centralized location. The location came out fantastic,” said Managing Director Adam Rowh, who has been with the company for six years. “We totally remodeled this space during the months of November and December and were able to get in here right before the New Year.

 

“The clients love it, and it’s also turned out to be more efficient for us,” he continued. “We designed the space for efficiency for the clients’ needs as opposed to how it impacted us. It has turned out perfect in that the efficiency is beneficial for all involved.”

 

For those not aware, Northwestern Mutual’s Bridgeport site is a financial services company that provides what they promote as expert guidance and innovative solutions for the planning needs of individuals, families, and businesses in the areas of retirement planning, insurance and investment services, estate planning, business planning, education funding, and employee benefits. 

 

The staff strives to understand their clients' goals and visions on an individualized basis in order to develop comprehensive financial solutions that put their clients on a path to financial success.

 

“Our aim is to definitely provide professionalism with the services we offer. We provide white glove service,” said Rowh. “We look to meet the clients, see where they are, where they want to go, and the most efficient way to get them from A to Z.”

 

The business in Bridgeport employs 19 individuals. The office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The office can be reached by calling 304-624-5400.
