Photos: More Images from Monday's Council Meeting

Along with the recognition of a pair of state championship Bridgeport High School teams on Monday in front of City Council, there was plenty of other activity that took place. Along with regular business, the city's governing body also officially swore in Phil Hart as the new Bridgeport Fire Chief.
Hart has been handling the duties for roughly a month on an official capacity. City Manager Kim Haws made that announcement during the first Council meeting in May that the interim tag had been removed.
