Photos: Prep, Middle School Athletes Recognized by City Council for Championships

During Monday's Bridgeport City Council meeting, Mayor Robert "Bob" Greer presented members of various championship teams proclamations for their accomplishments. Recognized were members of the Bridgeport High School boys cross country team for their state championship, as well as several teams from Bridgeport Middle School.
Greer also presented proclamations to the Braves' boys and girls cross country teams, the girls volleyball team and the boys soccer team during the session. Also recognized were officials with the Associated Businesses of Bridgeport, who will be celebrating the 10th Anniversary of their premier city event this Dec. 4 - Light Up Night.
