By Jeff Toquinto on September 30, 2014 via Connect-Bridgeport.com

In the September/October edition of West Virginia Focus magazine, it’s their “Wonder Women” issue. The issue pays tribute to the state’s most powerful women on multiple fronts and several local women are included.

Two with direct ties to Bridgeport are featured. Mandy Curry, a Bridgeport High School graduate as well as the “Healthy Kids First” blogger on Connect-Bridgeport, is featured for the Healthy Kids, Inc., which is the online healthy meal planner for parents. She currently lives in Hurricane with her husband Kirk.

Also featured is Bridgeport executive chef and restaurant owner Anne Hart. Hart owns the highly popular Provence Market Café & Marketplace off of Virginia Avenue. In her segment in the magazine, she describes her professional philosophy as “passion, drive and education.”

Two other individuals from Harrison County were included in the magazine. Mary Hunt, who grew up in Clarksburg, is the senior program officer with the Benedum Foundation. Federal District Judge Irene Keeley, who does her work out of the federal courthouse in Clarksburg, was included in the magazine.
