By Jeff Toquinto on June 16, 2020 via Connect-Bridgeport.com

Three individuals from Bridgeport were among the 45 indicted by what is listed as the May 2020 term of the Harrison County Grand Jury. The Grand Jury was held in front of Harrison County Circuit Judge Chris McCarthy.

Harrison County Prosecuting Attorney Rachel Romano presented the cases to the jurors. It was the first grand jury held in the county since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Bridgeport residents listed included Sarena Raelyn Clark, Ashley Diane Elwell, and Dillon J. Piscura.

The first resident listed was Clark. The 31-year-old was indicted on two counts of fraudulent use of an access device.

Elwell, 27, is facing a felony charge. She was indicted on third or subsequent offense of shoplifting.

The 25-year-old Piscura was the last on the list, which went in alphabetical order. Piscura was indicted on two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

The majority of those indicted were from the Harrison County area. However, seven were listed as “homeless” and one listed as unknown.

Richard H. Booth, 66, of Mount Clare, was indicted on one count of murder.

An indictment is merely an accusation. All individuals all presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
