Two with Ties to Bridgeport Named to West Virginia Executive Magazine's "Young Guns" 2015 Class

A pair of individuals with ties to Bridgeport was included in the 2015 Class of West Virginia Executive Magazine’s “Young Guns.” Among the 10 individuals, which are considered young business leaders in their fields in the Mountain State, are Wendy Boyce and James B. Swiger.

Boyce is the director of marketing for Wilmar Management, which most recognize as Wilson Martino Dental, which has their primary location along Main Street in Bridgeport. Boyce is also the national marketing director for Freedom Day USA in West Virginia.

Although often working behind the scenes, it is Boyce that plays a heavy hand in many of Wilson Martino’s statewide community efforts. The business is known for its annual coat drive for the needy, a troop Halloween candy buy-back program, and a free dental day for children in need among others.

Swiger is the president of WYK Associates, Inc., in Clarksburg. However, the work done by Swiger and WYK can be found throughout, Clarksburg, Bridgeport, Harrison County and beyond.

In Bridgeport, Swiger and his company have been involved in the recent renovations at the Medbrook Building along Johnson Avenue, the new Total Dental Building nearing completion – also along Johnson Avenue – and the Fellowship Bible Church expansion.

Swiger, like Boyce, is actively involved in the community. Most notable for Swiger at the present time is his role as the campaign chair for the Harrison County United Way.

This year's Young Guns class is tied into a high technology theme.
