An afternoon call for a traffic accident with injuries along Chenoweth Drive in Bridgeport proved to have little accident and no injuries, according to a member of the city’s police department.

The call for the accident went out at 2:51 p.m. on the Harrison County 911 log followed shortly thereafter by sirens and several emergency vehicles heading to the scene. However, upon arrival emergency personnel were greeted with what turned out to be an easily manageable scene.

Two vehicles managed to clip one another with no visible damage from the angles in which they were in when emergency personnel arrived. A red Toyota and a Green Ford Focus were involved, the officer said. He added that the only thing needing to be done was a transfer of insurance information.

The accident took place in the driving area through the parking lot at the Audubon Animal Clinic. The roadway that is Chenoweth Drive dead ends after that business.

There were no transports. No investigation was needed to be done.
