By Savanna Draper on June 29, 2022 from Off the Shelf via Connect-Bridgeport.com

Do you like cozy mysteries?

If you don’t know what they are, I’ll give you a brief definition. Cozy mysteries, sometimes called cozies, are a subgenre of crime fiction where the crime and/or violence take place “off stage.” The detective is typically an amateur sleuth, and the stories are usually set in a small, close-knit community. Cozies almost always have a theme, often hobbies or pets. These books are usually a part of a long series. If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, keep reading to find out what new cozies are coming to the library!
