The library is bringing in the new year with new programs for all.

 

January is full of fun programs and activities for children, teens, families, and adults. We are offering some new, unique programs as well as our recurring favorites. For children, teens, and families, we are offering some programs that are perfect to attend after school.

 

On Jan. 6 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., join us for a family matinee showing of Rise of the Guardians. Popcorn is provided.

 

Learn about STEAM and STEM with us from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.,  Jan.10 at our monthly Picking Up S.T.E.A.M program.

 

Have you ever used a 3D pen? Try one out on Jan. 11 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at our 3D Doodles program.

 

Also, don’t forget our twice-weekly storytimes—Brilliant Beginnings is every Wednesday at noon and Little Learners is every Thursday at 3 p.m.

 

We are offering a plethora of programs for adults this month.

 

 On Jan. 5 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., join us as we decorate our own tote bags at the DIY Library Tote Bag program.

 

Brush Hour, our painting program, will meet from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 9.

 

We will have a matinee showing of Death on the Nile and will provide popcorn on Jan. 12  from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

 

A brand-new escape room is coming to the library on Jan. 13 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., see if you can get through the Euphorigen Investigation.

 

On Jan. 17, join us for Signing Made Easy from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. This program is suitable for all ages.

 

We will be holding a Craft Swap from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 18., where you can bring craft supplies you no longer need and trade them with others.

 

On Jan. 19 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., we start our new Hobby Seekers program series and will be making outdoor birdseed ornaments.

 

Our first-ever virtual reality program will take place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 20—come try out our new Oculus Quest 2.
