Xtreme Science Campers Get Visit from Winged "Critters" at Civic Center

As part of this week's Xtreme Science Camp that is dubbed "Critter Camp," youngsters on hand got to see a pair of winged visitors as part of a presentation from the West Virginia Raptor Rehabilitation Center.
Students were inquisitive - and mostly quiet - as they looked on with wide eyes at the birds. The questions asked ranged from "do they lay eggs" to "can I go to the bathroom." It was all part of a fun day for students and teachers alike at the Benedum Civic Center.
