It’s been roughly a month since Bridgeport High School captured its fourth state baseball championship and first back-to-back titles in school history. Although many still remember it fondly, those who want to let others know about it will soon have their chance.

 

Bridgeport Coach Robert Shields said that he has worked with Reep Graphics to come up with a commemorative 2015 state championship t-shirt and hoodie. As one might expect, the shirts are BHS red with “West Virginia State Champs, Bridgeport Indians, 2015” on them.

 

“We thought it would be something that those involved with the program and those that follow the program would like,” said Shields. “We think they’re pretty nice looking shirts and are at a good price. Plus, you know when you’re dealing with Billy (Reep of Reep Graphics) that you’re getting a quality product.”

 

The short sleeve t-shirt costs $15. A hoodie runs $25. Reep said the sizes that are available youth medium through adult 3XL.

 

For those wanting to order, they can contact Reep Graphics at 304-842-5697. Individuals can also order at the store located on Route 50 just east of the Bridgeport City limits. Orders will be taken until the end of next week – July 10.

 

Bridgeport won the state championship with a 5-0 victory against Chapmanville in the state title game. The Indians finished the season with a school record 37 wins. The team finished the year 37-3.
