For high school football fans in West Virginia, there’s still one weekend of action left. And if you’re a fan of Bridgeport High School football then you have to be pleased.

The annual Super 6 lineup for the West Virginia High School football championships has been set and the Indians will be up first this Friday evening. Unlike other playoff games, the date and location of the title game is set in stone.

The 12-0-1 Indians will face off against the 12-1 Tolsia Rebels at Wheeling Island Stadium; where all three state title games will be held. It is the first-ever football matchup between the two schools.

Bridgeport advanced with a hard fought 28-20 victory against No. 4 Fairmont Senior, while Tolsia had an easier go of things in its semifinal game. The Rebels upended No. 7 Mingo Central 22-0.

The matchup is set for 7:30 p.m.

"If you're lucky to be talking about your next game at this point of the season, no matter how you feel about your team's performance in their previous games it's a good thing," said BHS Coach Josh Nicewarner as his last comment after Friday's win against the Polar Bears.

The action continues Saturday at noon with the Class AAA state championship game. No. 3 Wheeling Park, the team that tied Bridgeport in week two due to the game being called from lightning, will take an 11-1-1 mark into the game with defending champ and No. 4 Capital and its 10-2 record.

Saturday evening will mark the end of the 2015 season with the Class A title game. Top-ranked an unbeaten Magnolia (13-0) will face No. 2 East Hardy (12-1). That game will begin at 7 p.m.

MetroNews will have live audio streaming of radio coverage for each game at WVMetroNews.com. The game can also be heard live on WAJR 103.3 FM.

Travis Jones will do the play by play and will be joined by Fred Persinger on color. Chris Lawrence will be the sideline reporter for the MetroNews broadcast.

Advance ticket prices for the Super Six Champsionship will be $6 for students and $8 for adults. All tickets will be $8 at the gate. Book tickets for the three final games will be $21. Information on advance ticket purchases will be provided later this week.

As has been the case throughout the season, in-game tweets of the action will be done by Connect-Bridgeport by following @connectBP on Twitter. The only thing interrupting that service is the possibility of week Wi-Fi at the stadium.
