Bridgeport High School senior Hannah Walker, described by one educator as one of the most popular students, was named the 2018 Homecoming Queen.

Recently, Walker was chosen as a member of the Senior Homecoming Court. The court is chosen on by a vote of the senior class.

After that, the vote went to the entire student body to name the queen for 2018. And her popularity proved to be across the board as she was crowned queen at halftime of the Indians game with Robert C. Byrd.

Walker is the daughter of Darin and Jennifer Walker.

The new queen is involved in multiple activities. She is involved with the Challenger Legue in baseball, basketball and soccer. She was also a "Miracles You Admire Walk" participant.

At the school, she helps with the school's "Tribe-brew-all" coffee service selling teachers tea, coffee and snacks. Walker is also a cast member of the senior play "Mamma Mia."

She was escorted by her father Darin. She was crowend by the 2017 Queen Jenna Love.
