Photos: BMS Student-Athletes Honored by Bridgeport City Council Monday

In what proved to be a relatively short meeting, the Bridgeport City Council spent much of its session honoring student athletes from Bridgeport Middle School for capturing Harrison County Championships this past winter. The students and coaches from the girls basketball, the danceline and wrestling teams were all recognized by Council and received a proclamation from Mayor Mario Blount,.
Each coach also had a chance to address the packed house that was on hand. BMS Principal Carole Crawford also addressed the crowd on hand.
