Photos: Bridgeport City Council Recognizes BHS State Title Girls Track, Baseball Teams on Monday

There was a capacity crowd on hand for Monday's Bridgeport City Council meeting. A large part of the reason for the turnout was related to the city's governing body presenting proclamations to the Class AA state champion Bridgeport High School girls track team and baseball team.
Mayor Robert "Bob" Greer presented the proclamations to track Coach Emilee Stout and baseball Coach Robert Shields. Each coach and student-athlete was then presented with a ceremonial key to the city.
