Video Advertising Options Available for Scoreboard at Wayne Jamison Field

Although the permanent advertising on the one-year-old scoreboard at Wayne Jamison Field is already in place, there’s still a way for area businesses to get a message out to the masses on the high tech equipment on display at Friday night Bridgeport High School football games. Advertising – in the video form – is currently still available for the upcoming season.

Adam Rexroad, who handles the scoreboard operation for the high school during pre-game and the actual game, said it’s not too late to get involved.

“We’re currently selling advertising in the form of 30 second or 60 second ads that we can air on game days,” said Rexroad.

According to Rexroad, there is more than one way to produce an advertisement for submission if a business is interested. Rexroad said a client can submit a new ad, use an already produced ad or Rexroad said there is another option as well.

“We can produce the advertisement for them,” Rexroad said.

The advertisement will be shown on the high definition scoreboard that was installed last year. The screen is 13x9 feet and offers crystal clear video and pristine audio for those in attendance at the games.

“Right now, there are limited spots that are available,” said Rexroad. “We currently have room for some more.”

Rexroad added that there are multiple advertising opportunities that businesses can take advantage of if they’re interested. Rexroad asks for those who might be interested to contact him at 304-677-2321. He said he can provide rates and talk the opportunities that are available for the scoreboard. The advertising helps offset the operating costs of the scoreboard, Rexroad said.

Along with Rexroad, Bridgeport High School Assistant Principal/Athletic Director Matt DeMotto can be contacted for information. He can be reached at the high school.
