Photos: Rapid Progress Being Made by Crew on New Artificial Surface Installation at Wayne Jamison Field

While there will still be more than a week of work - at least - on details involving the installation of the new FieldTurf artificial surface at Wayne Jamison Field, the crew assigned to Bridgeport High School's project appeared to be making major progress. On Tuesday, most of the surface was put in place and unique features were being added.
Phil Nicewarner, the father of football Coach Josh Nicewarner, who has been on hand to answer any questions that may arise by the workers, said some of the touches will be obvious and others subtle. The red line around the 20 yard line is to indicate a team has entered the "red zone."
