Bonnie's Bus is teaming up with Bartini in the Suncrest Towne Centre to host The Pink Party on Monday, Aug. 4. Doors will open at 5 p.m. with live entertainment from 6 to 9 p.m.
All net proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit Bonnie's Bus, a mobile digital mammography unit that travels across the entire state of West Virginia offering screening mammograms.
The Soul Miners, Morgantown Magazine's winner for best band in 2013 and 2014, will be the musical guest, and The String of Pearls, a tap-dancing group featuring fun and fiery local women between the ages of 52 and 79, will also be performing at the event. Silent and live auction offerings will be featured throughout the evening.
Attendees of The Pink Party will also be able to step inside Bonnie's Bus, which will be located in the parking lot next to Bartini from 5 to 7 p.m. for guided tours and a better understanding of what thousands of women across West Virginia experience when the Bus visits their communities to provide lifesaving screening mammograms.
General admission tickets are $65 and can be purchased online or at the door. Ticket purchase includes entertainment, a buffet of heavy hors d’oeuvres, a commemorative Pink Party glass, and a complementary drink.
