Parks & Recreation

The goal of the Bridgeport Parks and Recreation Department is to provide the residents of Bridgeport and those visiting the city with a variety of quality recreational, educational and cultural programs to, in turn, help enhance the quality of life. It is a priority of the department to provide an open line of communication with the public that will foster quality recreational programs, safe and adequate facilities and healthy and active lifestyles for our citizens.
 
Bridgeport Parks and Recreation department consists of numerous Parks and Recreational Facilities. Your parks are more than just swing sets and slides; there are trails, picnic shelters, ball fields, two lakes, lighted basketball and tennis courts, swimming pool and much, much more. Please take a moment to explore our park facilities and recreational programs.
