Harrison County Historical Society will continue its annual “Harrison History Speaks” lectures, October 21st, 6:30 PM, at the Bridgeport Public Library. Outhouses, Bridges and By-Ways. Dr. Robert Anderson will discuss the story and role of the CCC, Civilian Conservation Corps, in Harrison County and West Virginia in the hay-day of putting depression era young men and women to work to build our state parks, roads, and bridges that remain standards of state infra-structure today.
