Marshville Community artists present their 15th annual “Arts for the Holidays” November 18, 19, & 20. Friday: 11 AM - 5 PM, Saturday: 10 AM - 5 PM, Sunday 12 Noon – 4 PM.
Take a pleasurable drive in the country along Ten Mile Creek to discover the historic Marshville Community Center decked in fresh greenery and red bows. Step inside where the sights, sounds, and smells are reminiscent of an old fashioned Christmas. Enjoy hot wassail as you sit by the glowing fire, listening to live old time music. Eight talented community artists gather here to offer their handiwork and community spirit to the public:
• Elaine Sinclair, creative basket maker extraordinaire
• Donnettia Weaver carries on the family tradition of home woven rugs and fine wood cutting boards
• Bob Snyder of Kachina Run Woodworks offers primitive style woodwork
• Judy Mattson Reed presents her beautiful watercolors
• Larry Zirkle with quality oak cabinetry
• Lesa McCarty of Crow-N-Thyme primitives
• Beth Herrod brings her homemade quilts and stitchery
• Lyle & Marilyn Blake, of L & M Farms, carry on Green Heron Gardens tradition of great herbal products, including culinary herbs & blends, teas, vinegars
