This week’s City Face is no stranger to Connect-Bridgeport, please meet Jerome Axton.
 
How long have you lived in Bridgeport?  About 23 years
 
Where are you originally from?  Clarksburg, West Virginia
 
Are you married? Not yet but engaged and excited to be married to the woman of my dreams December first of this year.
 
Children?   Not yet
 
What is your favorite color?  Red
 
Where do you work? Just started at Huntington Bank as a teller 3 weeks ago.
 
Favorite Bridgeport spot?  Almost heaven desserts. Everything is great, you’ll always find a friendly face in there, and that’s where I got engaged.
 
Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport?  The social tap if that’s considered outside of Bridgeport, great food and atmosphere there.
 
Favorite place outside of WV? Anywhere in the mountains Canaan, Timberline, Snowshoe wherever
 
Favorite restaurant? In Bridgeport, Oliverio’s. Outside of Bridgeport the Cheesecake Factory.
 
Best childhood memory? Playing football in the back yard with my brother and friends.
 
Favorite musical group?  Kenny Chesney or Thomas Rhett
 
Pets?  Two dogs. Taz is an Australian Shepard and Titan is a German Shepard.
 
Hobbies? Working out and being with friends and family.
 
Interesting fact about you? When I was 22, I was diagnosed with cancer and I’ve been in remission for 3 years.
