City Faces in Different Places

By Hannah Edwards on November 19, 2017 from City Faces

Please meet this week’s City Face, Shelby Hartzell, sponsored by Higinbotham & Higinbotham, PLLC.

How long have you lived in Bridgeport?  I have lived here for 23 of my 26 years.

Where are you originally from?  Charlotte, NC but the rest of my family originated in Bridgeport.

Are you married? Not yet, but I am happily engaged to Alex (Tre) bell III

Children?   Yes. My son, Killian, is 5 years old.

What is your favorite color?  Dark blue.

Where do you work? Coffee on the Corner/ Zul’s Lemonade located at the Meadowbrook Mall.

Favorite Bridgeport spot?  Hinkle and Deegan

Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport? Audra State Park

Favorite place outside of WV? Topsail Island, NC.

Favorite restaurant? The Ellis, CJ Maggies

Best childhood memory? I have too many! My most cherished memories involve all of the time I spent with my grandparents at their home in Deer Field. I walked there almost every day after school. I also loved riding my scooter up and down James street with my friends or all of the time I spent going to movies and the football games almost every weekend. Bridgeport was a wonderful place growing up.

Favorite musical group?  Once again, I have so many but Tom Petty always has a place on my playlist.

Pets?  I have one dog, his name is Bucky Barnes. He is a St. Bernard/Hound mix.

Hobbies? I try to draw or make something every once in awhile. As a family, we are all about adventure. We love to hike, camp, and swim. When we can’t, we love anything to do with comics, books, and movies.

Interesting fact about you? One of my favorite things to do is go to comic con in Monroeville, PA.
