City Faces in Different Places

By Hannah Edwards on October 07, 2018 from City Faces

Please take a moment to check out this week’s City Face, Kerrigan Swisher.

How long have you lived in Bridgeport? All my life, except when I lived in Fairmont while I went to college.

Where are you originally from? Bridgeport

Are you married?  Yes, to my husband, Jebb Swisher. We have been together for ten years and married for six.

Children? No

What is your favorite color? I’m a big fan of black. I decorate with it and wear it almost daily.

Where do you work? I’m an English teacher at Liberty High School.

Favorite Bridgeport spot? I honestly can’t pick just one spot. Bridgeport is such a nice area. I feel so blessed to live here and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.

Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport? I enjoy Canaan Valley/Blackwater Falls. I like being in the mountains, renting a cabin, and relaxing with family and friends.

Favorite place outside of WV? I love Hilton Head Island. It’s where I got married and I’ve been there several times. It has a special place in my heart.

Favorite restaurant? It’s a tie! Twin Oaks and El Rincon are my go-to places!

Best childhood memory? I remember riding my bike up and down the street and playing with friends outside in our yards. I miss that because you don’t see a lot of that these days.

Favorite musical group? Moby

Pets? I have two dogs (Henry and Gomez) and two cats (Sophia and Harvey) that are my children.

Hobbies? I enjoy coloring and watching scary movies.

Interesting fact about you? Miniature inanimate objects really freak me out. I have a family full of teachers.
