City Faces in Different Places

Take a moment to meet this week’s City Face, Jennifer Sprouse.
 
How long have you lived in Bridgeport?  I have lived in Bridgeport for 25 years.
 
Where are you originally from?  I grew up at Lake Floyd.
 
Are you married? I am married to Brad Sprouse.
 
Children?   - Derek (27, Director of Operations at Chick Fil A), Tyler (24, graduate student at Duke University), and Ryan (23, graduate student at University of North Carolina Chapel Hill).
 
What is your favorite color?  My favorite color is green.
 
Where do you work? My husband and I own and operate Nutone Hearing Aid Center in Clarksburg.  I recently returned to teaching as a
substitute at Bridgeport High School and Bridgeport Middle School.
 
Favorite Bridgeport spot?  My favorite spot in Bridgeport is Main Street Fitness. It’s my happy place. 
 
Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport? My favorite spot outside of Bridgeport is Stonewall Lake.
 
Favorite place outside of WV? My favorite place outside of Bridgeport is Key West, Florida.
 
Favorite restaurant? My favorite restaurant is Julio’s and Oliverio’s.
 
Favorite musical group?   My favorites are Billy Joel and Elton John.
 
Pets?  We have two dogs - Sophie is a Westie, and Sammy is a Maltese.
 
Hobbies? I enjoy exercising, reading, boating, and spending time with family and friends.
 
Interesting fact about you? My only claim to fame is winning the Harrison County Hoop Shoot contest in 3rd grade.  That was the beginning and the end of my athletic achievements.
