City Faces in Different Places

By Hannah Edwards on April 14, 2019 from City Faces

Please take a moment to check out this week’s City Face, Brittany Axton.

How long have you lived in Bridgeport? My husband and I purchased our first home in Bridgeport in June.

Where are you originally from? I am originally from Grafton, WV, a “Grafton Bearcat!”

Are you married? I recently got married December 1, 2018 to Jerome Axton.

Children? No children.

What is your favorite color?  My favorite color has always been purple.

Where do you work?  I graduated in May 2018 from WVU with my Masters of Occupational Therapy. Right out of school I got a job at Cornerstone Pediatric Center! I absolutely love working with the pediatric population!

Favorite Bridgeport spot? I have two favorite spots in Bridgeport! My husband and I have always had dates at Almost Heaven ever since we first met. we actually got engaged outside of the coffee shop because it is such a special place for us. Another one of my favorite local spots is Main Street Fitness. I couldn’t imagine this town without it! I have met so many people & the atmospheres at MSF is so motivating whether it’s 5 a.m. or 7 p.m!!

Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport?  Outside of Bridgeport, my favorite spot is Tygart Lake. There’s nothing like being in your hometown!

Favorite place outside of WV?  Outside of West Virginia, I enjoy any vacation I get with my husband to explore the world.

Favorite restaurant? My favorite restaurant is the Cheesecake Factory!

Best childhood memory? My best childhood memory is with my sister Chanel and childhood friends, we use to play Fear Factor. My sister was always the host and she created some horrible foods for my friends & I to eat as well as challenged us to some hilarious obstacle courses. I have a lot of favorite memories but that makes me laugh every time. My favorite artist is Jason Aldean. I have two dogs, Taz and Mila. They complete our little family!

Hobbies? My hobbies include working out at MSF where I also coach 3 round boxing with Daniel Post on Wednesday’s and Sundays! Some hobbies include walking my dogs, adventuring with my husband, shopping with my mom and sister, and boxing/working out.

Interesting fact about you? An interesting fact about me, as much as I love fitness.... I eat a cookie every morning with my coffee
