City Streets Closed Due to High Water

Bridgeport Police Department advises that Water Street, Anderson Street, Virginia Avenue and City Park Drive are closed due to high water. Wayne Jamison Field is under water as is Virginia Avenue near the Water Street/Worthington Drive intersections. Water is up behind the Benedum Civic Center and Dairy Queen. There are various incidents of flooding throughout the area. Schools in Harrison County were closed today as were some other area school systems.
