GALLERY II: Scenes for JC Films' "A Child of the King" Shot in Bridgeport

Local shooting wraps up Saturday for the JC Films project, "A Child of the King." Starring Dean Cain, Michael Sigler and Bridgeport's Heather Mudrick, the movie tells the true story of Dr. King, an American physician, who received a unique calling from God to protect millions of orphaned and abandoned children dying in the jungles of South America.
Wednesday’s shoot locations included Winnie’s Juice Bar, Ford Funeral Home and Bridgeport Cemetery. Filming continued Thursday at locations including North Central West Virginia Airport and Almost Heaven Desserts, among others.
Cain is known for many small and big screen roles, including Clark Kent/Superman in the TV series, “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” and as the host of “Ripley’s Believe It or Not!”
