- This has to become a Priority. Remember reading the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People? Covey’s most brilliant Habit- #3: Put First Things First. Fill your jar with your most important rocks first (health better be one of them). If you do, and focus on your most important things first, then you’re living life based on your priorities.
- Planning & Organizing. “Failing to plan is planning to fail.” It’s just that simple. We use this in every aspect of life and a healthy lifestyle is no different. This takes two hours a week. TWO HOURS! I’m not buying that you don’t have it. The average American watches 4 hours of TV per day (not including time on Facebook). Forego your time in front of the TV and plan your meals for the week and organize your refrigerator. It’s therapeutic, rewarding, and one of the most powerful things you can do to get your family on track and eating healthy.
