FBI-CJIS Citizens’ Academy Alumni Visit Washington

The FBI-CJIS Citizens’ Academy Alumni Association members recently visited FBI Headquarters in Washington, DC and the FBI Training Academy in Quantico, VA. Alumni members toured the new FBI Educational Center and the Strategic Information Operations Center where they received briefings from top FBI officials. Alumni members also traveled to the FBI Training Academy in Quantico, VA. At Quantico they visited the FBI’s Hostage Rescue Team Training Facility, Behavioral Analysis Unit, Forensic Analysis Laboratory, Hogan’s Alley Tactical Training Facility and observed a live firearms demonstration.
The FBI-CJIS Citizens’ Academy Alumni Association, which represents the largest division of the FBI, is part of the FBI National Citizens’ Academy Alumni Association. The Association is a public/private cooperative effort with the FBI that educates citizens on the mission of the FBI. Each member of the Association is a graduate of an eight week curriculum that focuses on federal law enforcement and national security issues.
