BHS Sweeps All Five Categories of Saturday's WV Danceline Competition

Under the direction of Cindy Timms Pulice, the Bridgeport High School Danceline claimed first-place trophies in all five dance categories at the West Virginia Danceline Competition held Saturday at Lincoln High School. The team won pom, kick, jazz, hip hop and open dance, as well as top showmanship and precision awards. Lincoln High School claimed the judges' choice award. Also competing were University and Webster high schools. BHS was the only team to compete in all five categories. Bridgeport's routines were choreographed by Pulice and Albert Altovilla. Members of the BHS Danceline are Seniors/Co-Captains Madalyn Aloi, Kaylissa Lunch, Hanna Stolzenfels and Emily Trickett; Autumn Fiest; Erica Balon, Taylor Frame, MacKenzie Kress, Sophia Lopez, Kimberly Morris, Madison Smith, Jaryn Doddrill, Isabella Bowen, Madison Hess, Megan Murray, Sarah Reppert and Sarah Momen. Suzanne Randolph is the team's assistant coach. The annual competition is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Clarksburg.
