Another Lodgeville Road Accident Sends Three Patients to UHC

Exactly 24 hours after yesterday’s vehicle accident on Lodgeville Road, Bridgeport Police, Fire and EMS crews were dispatched to another accident at the same location.
At 1:42 p.m., a call was dispatched via Harrison County Bureau of Emergency Services for a two-vehicle accident on Lodgeville Road, which intersects with U.S. Route 50/Emily Drive. Again, the incident took place in near Best Western Plus Bridgeport Inn.
According to Sgt. J.W. Petroski, who was directing traffic during the incident, it was a T-bone-type collision which resulted in the transport of three patients to United Hospital Center.
The incident remains under investigation by Officer L.D. Janssen of Bridgeport Police Department, who was unavailable for a comment Friday afternoon.
