Motown Mardi Gras

MORGANTOWN, WV – West Virginia Public Theatre (WVPT) is set to bring the vibrant spirit of New Orleans to Morgantown’s Pleasant Street with a one-of-a-kind Mardi Gras celebration on February 27. The unforgettable evening kicks off at 6 p.m. and will transport guests straight to Bourbon Street with live music, delicious cuisine, and festive entertainment all in support of the cornerstone theater company. Attendees will groove to the electrifying sounds of Matt’s Blues and The Soul Miners, whose high-energy performances promise to keep the dance floor alive all night long. Guests will also indulge in a delish buffet of Cajun-inspired favorites catered by B.C. Mac. while sipping on a variety of signature Mardi Gras cocktails. Plus, the night will also feature an array of exciting activities like a silent auction showcasing exceptional wares and a Mardi Gras mask competition, inviting guests the chance to unleash their creativity!
