Nature + Yoga: the 5 Elements—Space/Ether

Nature is comprised of five elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether (Space). We are of nature and our quality of life and wellness is shaped through the interplay of the five elements. The WV Botanic Garden offers an inspiring, natural habitat to learn about and somatically explore the primal qualities associated with each element. In the Nature + Yoga Series with Heidi Sherwin, a single element will take the spotlight each month. You will be guided through thematic postures, breathing practices, and meditation techniques so you may discover how the elements resonate with you physically, emotionally, and mentally. The accessible and well-rounded practices can also be integrated into your daily activities as you invite moments of reverence and connectivity to the rhythm of nature within and around you. Bring a yoga mat. All ages. $12 for WVBG members, $15 for non-members. Reserve y our spot at wvbg.org.
