5th Annual One King Sports 5K & 10K

Date:  Saturday May 6, 2023    Location:  VA Trail, and Harrison County Rail Trail in Clarksburg, WV. Time: Check in begins at 8:00am. Official races start time at 9:00am. Staggered start with 10K runners leaving first, then 5K runners following directly after. 
 
Awards:  Top 3 overall male and female trophies; Age group trophies for 1st place and medals for 2nd an 3rd place for both male and female in the following categories: 5K - 14 & Under,  15-19,   20-29,   30-39,   40-49,   50-59, 60-69 & 70+    10K - 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-69 & 70+ 
 
Team Competitions: There will be awards given to the Fastest Team and Largest Team.
 
Course Description:   5K is an out and back course starting at the Freedom Shelter, running to a turnaround on the Harrison County Rail Trail, then back the way you came.  Start and Finish are the same spot. 10K will be starting at the Freedom Shelter, you will take a right onto the VA trail for a full lap, then continue on the VA trail, out to a turnaround (the 10K turnaround will be past the 5K turnaround) on the Harrison County Rail Trail, and back the way you came. Start and finish will be the same as the 5K. These courses will be well marked and have plenty of volunteers to help guide you along the way.   
 
Registration Fee is $25 for the 5K and $35 for the 10K. Online registration is open now through May 4th, 2023.
 
All registered runners before April 6th will receive their choice of a FREE race t-shirt or race hat.   Register Now at www.onekingsports.org All proceeds from this fundraising event will go towards sports clinics and leagues that One King Sports offers the local community.
