Who Should Attend: This Summit is designed for members of the West Virginia faith community, church leaders, foster and kinship families, child welfare professionals, and anyone passionate about enhancing the lives of vulnerable children and families in West Virginia. Summit Highlights: - A presentation by Trent Taylor, a foster care alum, mentor, author, and CEO, that will share his journey from trauma to triumph. - Director Darrell Missey of Missouri Children’s Division will discuss and present how churches can make a difference in child welfare. - An inspirational talk by Jillana Goble, founder of Every Child Oregon, sharing her transformative experience as a foster and adoptive parent. - Panel discussion featuring foster parents sharing real-life stories about the impact of fostering on their families.
