Area Fire Personnel Respond to Camper Unit Blaze

Earlier this week, area first responders were calledto the scene of a fire to a camper unit in Marion County, according to the Valley Volunteer Fire Department.
The call came in early in the monring of January 13 at 12:02 a.m. Valley FVD responded as part of a mutual aid agreement with the Winfield District Volunteer Fire Department for a structure fire off Laager Lane in Colfax.
Fire personnel arrived to find a fully involved pull-behind camper. The structure was extinquished and personnel assisted in fire suppression overhaul and cleanup.
No injuries were reported.
