After a run of seven years, a local restaurant and brewery has closed its doors permanently, according to a post on their Facebook business page.
The Rambling Root, located on Fairmont Avenue in Marion County, closed in recent day. There was no reason listed for the closure.
The social media post from their Facebook page is below.
Root Family
It's been an amazing 7 years being a part of the Fairmont community with you all! We've had some incredible times, created and shared many friendships, eaten some fantastic food, sampled outstanding beers, and have loved and cherished absolutely every minute of it.
However, as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end… We are sad to announce that we're closing the doors to 101 Fairmont Ave.
Nonetheless, all the Root memories will last a lifetime, and cheers to every one of them that we’ll always hold dear. Cheers, and let’s keep drinking things!
We'll be around this afternoon if anyone wants to pick up their mugs. If you can't we eat to get them to you so message us and we'll figure out how to get them to you.
Ramble on and stay rooted.
