BHS, BMS Excell at Region 10 Band Festival

The Bridgeport High School Band received a superior rating of I during last week’s Region 10 Band Festival.
 
The superior rating of I is the highest available rating. BHS’s difficulty of music level was five (six is considered the most difficult) for both selections, Inchon and Shock Wave.
 
The Bridgeport Middle School Band comprised of 7th-8th grade students also received a superior rating of I. The Braves’ difficulty of music level was two for Darklands March and three for The Seventh Resolution.
 
For the Bridgeport Middle School Band that consists of 6th grade students, their rating was II for an excellent performance of Ascension and Dragon Slayer, both of which have a difficulty rating of one.
