By Michael Minnich on October 30, 2026
The Bridgeport Indians wrap the regular season tonight, traveling to East-West Stadium to face the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears.
Bridgeport (7-2) enters the week with the No. 2 ranking in Class AAA after a 55-14 win at Grafton last week.
Gavin Williams scored on 5 of his 7 offensive touches against the Bearcats, finishing with 114 ground yards and 4 TDs and 37 receiving yards and a TD.
Fairmont Senior is 2-6 and lost to Elkins, 35-33, last week, but the strength of the Polar Bears' schedule has them 13th in Class AAA.
Bridgeport leads the all-time series, 37-14, and has won the last 7 meetings after a 4-game skid between 2016 and 2019.
Last year's game was a 62-28 Tribe win at Wayne Jamison Field.
Williams ran wild with 20 carries for 404 yards and 5 touchdowns, while Eli Knight toted 6 times for 35 yards and 2 scores.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
Bridgeport will be off next week before starting playoff action on either Friday, November 13 or Saturday, November 14.
