City Acknowledges PROs Jamie Hamrick, Austin Ash

This past Saturday, National PRO (Prevention Resource Officer) Day." which is typically celebrated on February 15 annually, took place. the day is also known as "National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day".
 
The City of Bridgeport is lucky to have a pair of officers in the PRO program. Long-time PRO Officer Jamie Hamrick and PRO Austin Ash are responsible for the duties within the municipal limits.
 
Bridgeort recently recognized the pair on its social media platform page on Facebook.
 
This day recognizes the work of the PROs who play a vital role in bridging the gap between law enforcement and youth by acting as mentors, counselors, and law educators within schools.
