How long have you lived in Bridgeport? Marcy moved to Bridgeport in 1983. She has lived here thirty-three years.
Where are you originally from? Marcy is from Weirton. She is a 1979 Weirton High School graduate. She earned her Business Administration degree from Fairmont State College in 1983. 
Are you married? Yes, to Anthony Blount. He is a 1976 Notre Dame High School graduate. They were married in Fairmont in 1983.
Children? Marcy and Anthony have two daughters. Tavia, graduated from BHS in 2006. She earned her law degree from Atlanta’s John Marshall’s Law School. Presley, earned her Doctorate in Pharmacy from Northeast Ohio Medical University. She is currently living in Chicago for her residency in Pharmacy Administration at the University of Illinois, Chicago.
What is your favorite color? Red
Where do you work? Marcy works at WesBanco as a mortgage loan officer. She has been with the bank for twenty years.
Favorite Bridgeport spot? The pool at Bridgeport Country Club is Marcy’s home away from home on summer weekends. She loves the atmosphere and it’s her time to relax.
Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport? The Coliseum and Mountaineer Field are her favorites as she loves to cheer on the Mountaineers.
Favorite place outside of WV? Marcy loves to travel, especially to the beach. However, she really loves to visits Aruba. She appreciates the dry climate, warm temperatures and safe environment.
Favorite restaurant? Oliverio’s Ristorante
Best childhood memory? Kennywood used to have Weirton Day. She and all her friends would be dropped off at the park for the day. There was a parade and everyone had a great time.
Favorite musical group? Marcy’s dial is often tuned to Motown sounds and Michael Jackson is her favorite artist.
Pets? Two dogs – Tali, a mutt and Dewey, a Cock-a-poo
Hobbies? Reading non-fiction, sports, and knitting
Interesting fact about you? When she was younger, she used to wear something new on Mondays. It could be earrings, a hairstyle, socks, a dress… but it was new. It motivated her through the weeks. She still lives by that same motivation.
