How long have you lived in Bridgeport? Twenty-five years
Where are you originally from? Oakland, Maryland
Are you married? Wendy is engaged to Greg Scalise. Greg is a 1988 Liberty High School graduate.
Children? Wendy has two children. Presley, 24, is a BHS 2010 graduate. She is a RN at Ruby and currently working on her Nurse Practitioner degree at West Virginia Wesleyan College. She recently got engaged to Tyler Cunningham of Lumberport. Coleton, 21, is a 2014 BHS graduate and now a Business Marketing major at Fairmont State University.
What is your favorite color? Pink
Where do you work? Wendy is a secretary at Simpson Elementary School. She has been at the school for four years and was at Nutter Fort Elementary School for six years prior to Simpson.
Favorite Bridgeport spot? Wendy enjoys the park’s system in Bridgeport. They are a great place to get out with your family for walks, etc.
Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport? Summersville is her favorite get away in West Virginia. She loves to camp and go boating on the lake.
Favorite place outside of WV? Turks and Caicos
Favorite restaurant? The Caboose
Best childhood memory? Growing up on her family farm in Oakland, Maryland. She and her sisters enjoyed playing on the dairy and beef cattle farm. They also had horses.
Favorite musical group? Eric Church and Kenny Chesney are her two favorite artists.
Pets? Wendy has a Labrador Retriever named Louis and a cat named Coco Chanel.
Hobbies? Walking and babysitting
Interesting fact about you? Wendy was a flight attendant with Delta Airlines based out of Dulles Airport.
