City Faces in Different Places

By Hannah Edwards on March 03, 2019 from City Faces

Please take a moment to check out this week’s City Face, Miranda Carpenter.

How long have you lived in Bridgeport?  I have lived in Bridgeport for pretty much my entire life besides going to college for a few years. We have been officially back here for almost 8 years.

Where are you originally from?  I am from Bridgeport.

Are you married?  Yes. I have been married to my husband Josh for almost 6 years.

Children? I have 2 kiddos. My stepson Colton who is 7 and my little guy Sutton who is turning 4 on March 14th.

What is your favorite color?  My favorite color is Red.

Where do you work?  I work at the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute in Bridgeport.

Favorite Bridgeport spot?  My favorite spot in Bridgeport is the football field. I spent 6 years cheering on that field between middle school and high school. Now my stepson is going on his 3rd year with Bridgeport Youth Football and I get to coach the youth cheerleaders. It’s a great feeling to watch your kid play on that field and being able to be back on the field as a cheer coach to the girls.

Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport?  Fayetteville, WV.  It’s where my husband and I spend our anniversary. We white water raft and zip line.

Favorite place outside of WV?  North Myrtle Beach. I spent so many summers there growing up and now to be able to take my kids and experience it as a parent is even more special. We love the dinner shows!

Best childhood memory? My best childhood memory is being a part of Gym One Allstars.

Favorite musical group?  I don’t really have a ‘favorite’ musical group. I like everything from today’s hits and country to 80’s Rock.

Pets? No pets.

Hobbies? Crafting, taking walks, nerf battles with the kiddos, reading, cooking with Hello Fresh, and my TV shows.

Interesting fact about you? I met my husband at the age of 13 at church camp.
