City Faces in Different Places

By Hannah Edwards on April 28, 2019 from City Faces

Please take a moment to check out this week’s City Face, Heidi (Holland) Seamon

How long have you lived in Bridgeport?  9.5 years.

Where are you originally from?  Grafton, WV.

Are you married?  Yes. I’ve been married to Davin Seamon for almost 18 years.

Children? Yes. We have 3 children: Maryn (14), Antonin (8), & Agustin (4).

What is your favorite color?  I love cool colors—purples, blues, teals.

Where do you work?  I am In-House Counsel for Mountain Leverage, a tech company based in Grafton.  I am also a Wellness Advocate with d?TERRA essential oils.

Favorite Bridgeport spot?  My house.  I love our house, our view, our street, our neighbors.

Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport?  Our family loves Snowshoe in the summer!

Favorite place outside of WV?  Walt Disney World.  We just can’t get enough of all things Disney!

Favorite restaurant?  Almost Heaven is a frequent stop—we love their salads and sandwiches.  I also love the Caboose, Oliverio’s, & Mia Margherita.

Best childhood memory?  Growing up on Tygart Lake.  We went every weekend, all summer long.  It felt like heaven.

Favorite musical group?  John Prine! I’ve loved him since I was little, and I’ve followed him to the Caribbean & to Red Rocks.

Pets? None.

Hobbies?  I spend a lot of time researching & learning about essential oils.  I love to help others & teach them about the benefits of a more natural approach to health, cleaning, household products, etc.  Davin & I also recently completed a nutrition challenge, and I’ve enjoyed cooking healthier versions of our favorite foods.  Someday, I’ll start singing & knitting again.

Interesting fact about you? I used to be a wedding singer.  Davin plays piano, and over the years, we have provided music for many ceremonies.  It is always an honor to be a part of such a big day!
