City Faces in Different Places

By Hannah Edwards on July 21, 2019 from City Faces

Please take a moment to check out this week’s city face, Rachel Griffith.

How long have you lived in Bridgeport? I’ve lived in Bridgeport for 20 years.

Where are you originally from? I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio

Are you married? Not yet! My fiance and I are planning our wedding for fall of 2020!

Children? No children yet

What is your favorite color? Black! It goes with everything.

Where do you work? I’m a licensed Esthetician at The Spa Bridgeport, where I do microblading, waxing, facials, body treatments, and more!

Favorite Bridgeport spot? I love Maple Lake. Summer days are always better at the lake.

Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport? My fiance and I love spending weekends in the mountains near Seneca Rocks and Smoke Hole Caverns. We got engaged there!

Favorite spot outside of WV? Disney World for sure.

Favorite restaurant? In Bridgeport it’s Shogun for sushi. In the surrounding areas I’ve got to say Muriale’s!

Best childhood memory? My family takes great vacations every summer, it’s hard to choose just one.

Favorite Musical group? Mariana’s Trench, they’re a band from Canada.
Pets? I don’t have any pets, but my parents have a Black Lab/American Bulldog mix named Teddy that I like to call my own.

Hobbies?I love to cosplay, as well as design Theatrical Hair and Makeup. I’ve been working with BHS’s theatre since 2015. I’m working with the Robinson Grand Community Theatre on their first production “Annie” later this year and I couldn’t be more excited!

Interesting facts about you? I was a member of the Pride of West Virginia Mountaineer Marching Band in their Color Guard! I have some great WVU game day memories.
